トビチ美術館

2021年度に始まったトビチ美術館企画は、10年間行う企画としてスタートしました。

トビチ美術館は、豊かな暮らしをつくるうえで重要な⽂化作りの企画です。

アートや⽂化が暮らしの中にあることは、すごく豊かなことだと考えています。

アートを特別なものとしてではなく、様々な社会との接点を作ることでグラデーションのように暮らしの延⻑線上にアートがある⽂化を作るため、10年の企画として⾏っています。

地域の⼤切なリソースの空き家・空き店舗を使って⾏うことで多くの⼈に⾒てもらう機会を増やし、気に⼊った⼈がいたら、来年はそこがお店になっているかもしれない。

これから空き家・空き店舗は次々と出てくるので、会場は転々と移っていくことができます。

暮らしの近くにある商店街界隈を展⽰エリアとすることで、必然的に地域の⼈の⽬に触れ、体感する経験を積み重ねることの先に、今より少しだけ豊かな暮らしを創ることができると信じて活動しています。

The Tobichi Museum is a project focused on creating culture, which is crucial for building a richer life.

We believe that having art and culture in our daily lives is incredibly enriching.

Rather than treating art as something special, we aim to create a culture where art exists as a continuous extension of life, like a gradient, by creating various points of contact with society.

This is why we are running this project for 10 years.

By utilizing vacant houses and shops—important local resources—we increase opportunities for many people to see the art, and if someone likes it,

it might become a shop there next year.

As more vacant houses and shops become available, the venue can easily shift.

By using shopping streets and surrounding areas close to people’s homes as exhibition areas,

we believe that by inevitably exposing and allowing local people to experience art firsthand,

we can create a slightly richer life than the one we have now.
